  • Monitor system dashboards, alerts, and logs to help ensure uptime and stability.
  • Assist with recurring maintenance tasks such as patching, backups, and upgrades.
  • Support user onboarding, access requests, and simple IAM tasks.
  • Document standard procedures, runbooks, and onboarding guides.
  • Collaborate with DevOps and IT teams on small automation or deployment tasks.
  • Shadow senior engineers to gain exposure to CI/CD, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and containerization.
  • Participate in incident response as a first-line contact and help with post-incident notes.

Key Deliverables (First 3–6 Months)

  • Handle and resolve a set number of support/backoffice tickets per week.
  • Create or update 2–3 operational runbooks or support guides.
  • Take ownership of one recurring support process (e.g., log review, backup verification, patching checks).
  • Assist in setting up basic monitoring dashboards or alert rules.
  • Contribute to one small automation or scripting improvement under guidance.

Must-Have:

  • 0–2 years of experience in DevOps, Infrastructure, or related technical roles.
  • Exposure to or experience in Level 1 Technical Support (ticketing, troubleshooting, or escalation).

Nice-to-Have:

  • Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
  • Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
  • Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible).
  • Linux basics and simple scripting (Bash/Python).
  • Exposure to Docker and containerization.
  • Awareness of monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, ELK).
  • Familiarity with IAM/security concepts (user permissions, access policies).
  • Experience with ticketing systems (Jira, ServiceNow, or equivalent).

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary with growth opportunities
  • Remote work flexibility
  • Annual training/certification allowance
  • Health benefits
  • Mentorship and a clear career path into DevOps engineering
