The Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior System Engineer to join our growing team. You will be responsible for the design, development, implementation, and maintenance of our infrastructure using containerization technologies and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, deploy, and manage highly scalable and reliable applications using Kubernetes.
  • Deep understanding of Kubernetes architecture, components, and best practices for deployment, scaling, and security.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving complex production issues related to Kubernetes deployments.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools like Terraform, Ansible, or Chef.
  • Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Strong experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS) including EC2, S3, VPC, and IAM.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams (development, qa, project manager and others).
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a System Engineer or similar role focus on Kubernetes and AWS.
  • Proven experience with Kubernetes setup, configuration, and management.
  • In-depth knowledge of AWS services and experience managing cloud infrastructure.
  • Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Bash, Golang) and infrastructure automation tools.
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker.
  • Solid understanding of infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, and configuration management.(e.g., Jenkins, Github, Bitbucket).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools for infrastructure and applications.
  • Knowledge of security best practices and compliance standards.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.


Bonus Points:

  • Experience with GitOps methodologies.
  • Experience with cloud native security best practices.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana or equivalent).
