As we continue to push the boundaries of digital storytelling, we are expanding our focus on livestream services and creator-led affiliate marketing to help brands thrive in the evolving e-commerce landscape.
Role Summary:
We are looking for an experienced livestream operations specialist to run our livestream service and own the end-to-end delivery of livestream sessions. You will manage brand stakeholders, coordinate freelance hosts, and continuously improve performance through a strong operating rhythm, clear standards, and data-driven iteration. This role is accountable for the quality, reliability, and growth of our livestream services.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Livestream Operations (End-to-End Delivery)
- Own the weekly livestream calendar across multiple brands; ensure coverage for double-session days.
- Build and maintain run-of-show templates, preflight checklists, rehearsal standards, and day-of execution flow.
- Lead pre-live preparation: product sequencing, key selling points, promos/vouchers, studio/tech readiness, and contingency planning.
- Direct the live session as Showrunner: pacing, coordination with tech/moderation, and rapid issue resolution.
2) Brand & Stakeholder Management
- Act as the senior operational point of contact for livestream clients; set expectations and secure approvals on time.
- Translate brand objectives into weekly livestream plans (themes, hero SKUs, promo mechanics, and targets).
- Partner with clients on campaign moments (launches, mega days, seasonal pushes) and manage surge planning.
- Own service-level delivery: on-time execution, consistent quality, and professional communication.
3) Freelance Host Management (Talent Roster)
- Own the host roster: sourcing, auditions, training, and performance management.
- Match hosts to brands based on tone, category strength, and conversion style.
- Create host briefs and prep packs (scripts, product sheets, brand dos and don’ts, objection handling).
- Ensure host availability and back-up coverage; maintain a reliable bench of vetted talent.
4) Team Leadership & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Lead the team with clear goals, coaching, and accountability
- Establish a cadence of weekly planning, rehearsal, live execution, and performance review.
- Maintain documentation and SOPs so delivery remains strong even during staff changes or client surges.
- Hire, onboard, and upskill team members as the service grows
5) Creator/Affiliate Support (nice to have, but valuable)
- Track high-level affiliate funnel metrics (recruitment, activation, retention, content output)
- Support affiliate recruitment planning: creator tiers, outreach messaging, onboarding packs, activation cadence)
Requirement:
Must Have
- Proven experience with livestream operations (social commerce, live shopping, or equivalent live production).
- Strong showrunning/producing instincts: you can plan, direct, and troubleshoot in real time.
- Experience managing talent (hosts/creators) or vendors/freelancers; comfortable giving clear performance feedback.
- Operational discipline: checklists, schedules, asset tracking, and high reliability under pressure.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on familiarity with major livestream commerce platforms (for example: TikTok Shop, Shopee Live, Lazada Live) or similar.
- Client-facing experience with multiple stakeholders and tight timelines.
- Comfort reading performance data and coaching the team/hosts based on insights (retention, CTR, conversion, AOV).
- Strong communication in English and/or Bahasa Melayu.
Working Style & Expectations
- Highly organised and calm under pressure; able to make fast decisions during live sessions.
- Clear communicator who can align clients, hosts, and internal operators quickly.
- Comfortable with a hands-on role: you may jump in to solve operational gaps when needed.
- Willing to work flexible hours tied to livestream schedules (including evenings/weekends).
