The Assistance Finance Manager (the “AFM”) is responsible for the Group of Companies’ (the “Group”) financial and management reporting to support the Group’s overall strategy and direction. The AM’s role includes handle full set of accounts for the Group on timely preparation of financial and management reports, cash flow forecasting, reviewing, and analyzing financial data.
REPORTING LINE
The AM reports directly to the Chief Operating Officer (“COO”).
Job Responsibilities
a. In charge of monthly closing, forecasting, and budgeting
b. To provide high-quality management reports and quarterly Board of Directors (“BOD”) papers with a focus on written analysis and insights - communicating to the COO on a timely basis for effective decision-making purpose.
c. Analyze closing result to the management and have monthly discussions on financial performance with the Business (“BU”) Heads. Ensure that KPI are monitored for performance measurement and key assumptions as discussed with the BU Heads during the budget.
d. Forecast cash flow positions, borrowing needs and available funds required for investment. Ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet ongoing operational and capital investment requirements.
e. Participate in continuous improvement process projects. Maintaining a wide understanding of the Group’s operations and financial management to support the COO in meeting the BOD’s objectives and its strategic direction.
f. Maintain a documented system of finance and corporate office policies and procedures.
g. Liaises with external auditors, tax consultant and company secretarial for preparation of annual financial reporting with relevant regulatory requirements for statutory and regulatory audit, tax submission and reporting.
h. To support the COO on special projects or any other duties as and when necessary.

Requirements
a. Candidate must possess Degree or equivalent in Accounting
b. Strong fundamentals in finance accounting, accounting standards application, and tax compliances.
c. Candidate with auditing background will be an added advantage
d. Computer literate and proficiency in Microsoft Office
e. Independent and confident in dealing with internal and external parties
f. Strong analytical & problem-solving skills.
g. Possess a good work ethic with accountability, positive attitude, and interpersonal skills
