Technical Writer / Business Analyst

We are looking for a Technical Writer / Business Analyst to join our team! In this role you will be working with the business and tech teams and be responsible for producing high-quality and understandable documentation with the goal to improve the success of our products. You will also be working with the team to analyze processes we can improve on and then help implement solutions.

Duties and responsibilities

  • Study product samples
  • Work with internal teams to obtain an in-depth understanding of the product and the documentation requirements
  • Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for its intended audience
  • Create tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Analyze existing and potential processes and ideas, focusing on improving business efficiencies
  • Create and maintain the information architecture
  • Communicate with product designers and developers to understand product details
  • Collaborate with technical staff
  • Analyze and manage existing and potential content
  • Make high-quality documentation that meets standards and is appropriate and easy to use
  • Produce and distribute tutorials to help end-users use a variety of applications
  • Research and collect usability feedback

Requirements:

  • Ability to translate highly technical information into easily understandable information for customers
  • Creative skills and usage of photographs, drawings, diagrams, animation, and charts that increase users’ understanding
  • Critical thinker and problem-solving skills
  • Team player
  • Good time-management skills
  • Great interpersonal and communication skills
  • Professional Writing or Creative Writing is a big plus
  • Background in engineering or computer science is a big plus
